Luxury of the Counts Szapáry - opening
The opening of the main exhibition marking the 70th anniversary of the Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota will take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 18,00. For the first time in more than ninety years, the exhibition will feature pieces of furniture and decorations that adorned the quarters of the noble family Szapáry, the last aristocratic owners of this castle, on display at the Murska Sobota Castle. They are coming to their former home on loan from the collections of the National Museum of Slovenia, the Maribor Regional Museum, and the Historical Museum of the Universal Museum Joanneum in Graz.
The exhibition will be open until May 2026.
