Project summary

Specific cross-border objectives of the project

Use of the cultural heritage of the region which was importantly shaped by both national minorities, and its creative implementation in new media, new common teaching requisites and in the new common education programme.

Realisation of the programme in all three cooperative museums that work in the minority region as a permanent museum pedagogical programme. Common infrastructure with the purpose of unified programme realisation and common products in both languages with the purpose of permanent usage: information available on internet, pupils' exchange, mentors' exchange, exchange of other information mediators, common learning of the minority language, common acquaintance with the heritage.

Added value of ERDF funding

The project overreaches presentation of cultural heritage only with national notation that is often as a sample transmitted to the politics area, formal education and communication itself. Heritage of the space is a whole, undividable and with its variety part of our identity and the identity of common European space in which we live. The quality of the programme is that it addresses the children as the future carriers of culture, their teachers and indirectly also the parents, that it is based permanently in its content and in its infrastructure, and that it brings to the economically least developed areas in both countries new methods, new teaching and communication techniques. Culture and cultural heritage is preserved as an important part of the area identity.

Quality of the partnership

Involved museums - partners are the most competent institutions in the field of protection and presentation of cultural heritage in the field of the partnership. It was our common decision to connect knowledge and documentation and inside the framework of the project make a digital basis of information about our own and common cultural space that will be available on internet, transmit it into permanent additional education programme which will be realised together with unified teaching requisites in both languages, in the framework of pedagogical workshops and permanent exhibitions - already existing and a new one in Monošter. The project is a qualitative supplement to the regular museum activity which is thus connected with educational contents in schools and makes a many-directions partnership and cooperation between institutions, performers, co-workers and primary aim group of the programme - the children.
